FULL DAY EXCURSION TO HILL STATION - GOLDEN HILLS

Depart after breakfast for a two and half drive from Trivandrum/ Kovalam to the hill station, Ponmudi situated 65 kms from Trivandrum. Enjoy the drive through the narrow, winding roads in the cool, green rain forests. Ponmudi is located 3020 ft above sea level and the final drive to the peak is along tea plantations Enjoy the cool salubrious climate and the spectacular view from the peak. Stop en route to visit a tea factory at work where tea is processed. Later proceed downhill to stop by the Kallar River, and a short trek in the rain forests will take you to the pool below the waterfalls. A swim in the cool waters will drain away the fatigue and hot lunch will be served here. Later trek back to your transport for the transfer to your hotel in Trivandrum/Kovalam.
