FULL DAY BACKWATER CRUISE IN KOLLAM BY HOUSEBOAT
(including lunch and Elephant antics)

After breakfast proceed to Paripally( 2hrs) to visit the Elephant Camp where you get to feed, bathe and ride elephants. There is usually a minimum of 5 elephants in this Camp. Later proceed to Ashtamuid Resorts at Quilon(1 hr) for a traditional Keralan lunch served on the banana leaf also view a Kathakali demonstration where the make-up and the expressions are shown. 

Later in the afternoon board the houseboat for a cruise along the backwaters of the Ashtamudi Lake. The houseboat is a traditional riceboat converted with bedrooms having attached bathrooms and toilet. The cruise is along the canals and the backwaters and the stunning scenery and tranquility will make you feel lost in a time warp. Later, proceed to your hotel at Trivandrum/Kovalam.
